Importance Of Enzymes

Enzymes are our ‘biochemical agents of life’. Without them, very few of our essential metabolic processes could take place. Life could not exist. Megazyme Forte is an extremely potent source of metabolic enzymes that are designed to support immune system function and rid the body of harmful cells and cellular debris.

Enzymes regulate digestion, production of energy, immune system activity, production of hormones and other body secretions. It aids in the destruction of foreign substances and they protect us from deadly bacterial infections. Enzymes also breakdown older cells that have fulfilled their useful function and need to be recycled. Without proper enzymes your body would be made up of older, less efficient and lethargic cells. Conversely, with proper enzymes you will be made up of younger, more efficient cells, producing more energy and more adequately performing their necessary life functions. Potent Formulation

Megazyme Forte is an extremely potent metabolic enzyme formula. It contains high levels of the enzymes, bromelain, pancreatin (contains lipase, amylase, protease), catalase, papain, trypsin, chymotrypsin,  superoxide dismutase, and now fortified with serrapeptase and natto-kinase. Megazyme also contains rutin, zinc gluconate, bovine tissue extract, N-acetyl cysteine and L-Glutathione reduced.

• Pancreatin is an enzyme normally secreted by the pancreas. The level of this enzyme has been found to be severely deficient in individuals experiencing certain health problems. Pancreatin may be one component of the body’s own natural defense mechanism and is believed to strip the protein coating off unhealthy cells leaving them directly exposed to immune system attack. The potency of our pancreatin is 8X times that of a normal USP unit. This provides the equivalent enzyme activity of 3,000 mg per day. Each daily dose provides 156,000 units of total activity, 75,000 USP units of protease, 75,000 units of amylase and 6,000 units of lipase. 
• Bromelain is an enzyme found in pineapple. This enzyme serves to fight foreign proteins in the system and helps rid the body of waste materials. Megazyme contains a high grade of Bromelain 1200 GDU per gram.
• Serrapeptase is a natural anti-inflammatory agent that can digest arterial plaque, blood clots, cysts and dead tissue within the body. Megazyme contains the highest grade of Serrapeptase available (2,500,000 USP units per gram).
• Trypsin and chymotrypsin also helps dissolve the protein coat off of unhealthy cells and makes them vulnerable to the attack of white blood cells.
• Natto-kinase (400 FU/g)  decreases the ability of blood to clot which  can impede circulation. It “thins the blood,” and therefore believed to benefit people with heart and vascular issues.
• Papain is an enzyme found in papaya and complements the actions of bromelain and pancreatin. Megazyme contains a high grade of Papain (30,000 papain units (PU) per gram).
•  Catalase (1000 BU/g) is an enzyme in the liver that breaks down harmful hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. 
• Superoxide dismutase is an enzyme that helps break down potentially harmful oxygen molecules in cells, which might prevent damage to tissues.
